Mrs. M. C. Worsham

Died: Mrs. M. C. Worsham, one of the oldest and most respected citizens of Lee county, died at her home in this city on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Mrs. Worsham has been in failing health for quite awhile and her death was not unexpected. She leaves a niece, Mrs. J. P. Farrer, Jr., and several grand children together with a host of friends to mourn her death. A conscientious, consistent member of the Baptist church for many years, verily, she hath gone to her reward. ...She was buried in the cemetery at this place yesterday evening, Elder Wise conducting the services.
