Captain Isaac J. Winston 

Another Ex-Confederate Gone to His Reward.
On the 25th of January, 1910, Capt. Isaac J. Winston departed this life at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ella W. Lambert, near Searcy. He was born near LaGrange, Tenn., Dec. 11th, 1838.
He was married to Miss Fanny E. Isbell of Gainsesville, Ala., Feby 10th, 1864. Four children survive him, viz: Mrs. Ella W. Lambert and Mrs. Ada Mayo, of Searcy, George Winston of Birmingham, Ala., and Wiley Winston of Hanover, Okla. According to an oft expressed wish, his remains rest by the side of his wife’s near Lamberton, Monroe County, Arkansas.

CAPT. ISAAC J. WINSTON
Searcy, Jan. 28. - (Special) - Cap Isaac J. Winston, aged 72 years, died yesterday at the home of his daughter. The deceased was a veteran of the confederate army, having been captain of an Alabama company. Burial will be made at Holly Grove.

Searcy, Jan. 27 - Capt. Isaac J. Winston, aged 72 years, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Lambert, at this place today, and the remains were taken to Holly Grove for burial. He was a Confederate veteran, having served through the was as captain of a company of Alabama omfamtry. Afterward he moved to Indian Bay, Monroe county, and subsequetly to this place.
