Florence Williams

Mrs. Florence Williams died in a Fort Worth, Texas, hospital Monday night after a few days illness. Mrs. Williams, a lifelong resident of Clarendon, was visiting her daughter, Mrs. A. A. Green when she became ill. She was the widow of the late Tom D. Williams and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock by Rev. S. T. Hill, assisted by Rev. J. H. Brooks. Interment was in Shady Grove Cemetery. Besides her daughter in Texas, she is survived by two sons, Robert and Van; one sister, Mrs. S. E. Penn, all of Clarendon.

Editor’s note: Her grave stone in Shady Grove gives: born 1867, died 1938.
