J. W. Wade

Mr. J. W. Wade died about 7 o’clock Thursday August 1, 1907 at the home of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Howard, at Union city, Tenn. Mr. Wade had been in poor health for some months and a few years ago went to his old home in Tenn. For a change and rest, hoping to repair his health. Mr. J. W. Wade was a native of Kentucky and became associated with Mr. R.C. L. Howard in the firm of Brinkley Ice and Bottling Co. Later he and his son, W. D. Wade, became sole proprietors of the business. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Deceased was brought to this city today and the body interred at Oaklawn Cemetery near the noon hour. Survivors of the immediate family are his wife, son W. D. and daughters, Miss Daisy and Mrs. R. C. Mitchell.
