Annie Laurie Whitson Thornton

Resident of Snow Lake Dies at Memphis Hospital: The death of Mrs. Annie Laurie Whitson Thornton was a source of much sorrow to her friends in this city and Phillips County. Mrs. Thornton lived at Snow Lake and was well known in this section of Arkansas. Her death occurred at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis. She was 36 years of age and is survived by her husband, J. P. Thornton; one daughter, Ann Thornton; four sisters and one brother. The remains were sent to Water Valley, Miss. for interment which occurred this afternoon.
