Major Charles W. Sproull

SPROULL: Major Charles W. Sproull, father of Miss Kate Sproull of this city, died at his home in Anniston, Ala., December 25th, the remains being taken to the old family home in Rome, Ga., for interment. In concluding a beautiful tribute to the memory of Major Sproull the Rome (Ga.) Tribune says: “The ancestors of Maj. Sproull were among the early settlers of South Carolina.
