Mrs. T. O. Rorie

Mrs. T. O. Rorie Dead: Mrs. T. O. Rorie passed out of this life to the realm beyond Monday afternoon about 5:30 o'clock at the family residence on West Elm St., this city. Mrs. Rorie had been almost an invalid for several years during which time very few days at a time of comparative ease were enjoyed........ Deceased professed faith in Christ at the age of 16 or 17 years and united with the M. E. Church, south, of which she continued a faithful consistent member until the victorious last conflict. She was married to the Rev. T. O. Rorie at the age of 18 and was a true helpmeet and valiant coworker with her husband, an itinerant Methodist minister... Her husband, two daughters, Miss Ruth and Mrs. Eue Adams - and three sons, Paul Q., T. O. Jr., and Clem, survive. All of these were in attendance at the last illness except Mrs. Adams. The deceased was taken to Arkadelphia for burial.
