James Polk Rideout

James Polk Rideout, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Rideout, died at his home in this city on February 13, of pneumonia. The interment was made the following day at Shady Grove and the services were conducted by Rev. J. K. Farris. The young man was scarcely nineteen years old, having been born August 21, 1887. He was greatly esteemed by all who knew him and gave promise of becoming a good and useful citizen. There is genuine sorrow among the friends of this excellent family because of the sad bereavement that has been visited upon them.
