BUSINESS MAN DEAD AFTER A BRAVE BATTLE
George Ragsdale Succumbs To Pneumonia attack at West Helena Home
George Ragsdale, 38 years old, well known Helena business man and aviation enthusiast, succumbed at 7 p.m. Saturday after a hard fight against an attack of pneumonia at his home in West Helena. He was the father of seven children.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the residence at 608 Clebourne avenue, West Helena, with Rev. E. S. Mizell, pastor of the West Helena Baptist church officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Hill cemetery with Cunningham and Hraway in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife; his seven children, Albert, Dorothy, Elizabeth, George Jr., Mildred, Earl and Myrle, the latter of whom are twins; two brothers, Will Ragsdale, of Helena, and C. C. Ragsdale of West Helena; and a sister Mrs. N. I. Manning of Memphis, Tenn.
The following friends will serve as pallbearers:
