Charles Porter 

The body of Chas. Porter, a former old citizen of Brinkley, was brought here for burial at Oaklawn Cemetery last week, he having died at the home of his son, Arthur Porter, in Des Arc. Charles Porter was born in Ely Cambs, England in 1845, moved to America in 1872 and to Brinkley in 1875. He was married to Miss Virginia Locke at Cotton Plant in 1886. The deceased is survived by daughter Mrs. Mary Foster of Merlin, Ontario and two sons, Arthur Porter of Des Arc and Chas. Porter in the American Army now in Germany.
