James B. Poland

James B. Poland Dies Tuesday Afternoon At His Home Near Marvell. James B. Poland, well known farmer, died at his home near Marvell Tuesday afternoon at 2 0’clock. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs John Strawn of West Helena, a step-son Ed Holmes of West Helena, a brother Cyrus Poland of Miami, Florida, and a son-in-law, C. L. Campbell of Barton. He was the grandfather of Mrs. Rudolph Inebnet of Marvell, Mrs. Burcher Ermer, Bernard and Eugene and Chester Campbell of Barton.

Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at the Nazarene Church in West Helena at 2 o’clock by Rev. Chinn. Interment followed in IOFF Cemetery, with friends of the family serving as pall bearers. Arrangements were in charge of Cunningham-Haraway.
