W. J. Peterson

Mr. Peterson of Blackton is Buried in Brinkley...W. J. Peterson, a well known merchant at Blackton who died at his home there Saturday after a long illness, was burried (sic) at Oak Lawn Cemetery Monday morning, Rev. Patterson officiating. Mr. Peterson leaves a widow and seven children to mourn his death. He was 45 years of age and has lived in Blackton many years. He was a member of the Blackton Presbyterian Church. A large concourse of his friends came up to Brinkley on the morning train to attend the funeral Monday morning. The grave was banked with snow and afterwards literally covered with flowers and floral designs. The funeral party returned to Blackton on the same train which was in awaiting(sic) for them.
