INJURIES OF J. W. PASCHAL PROVE FATAL

Marvell Resident Dies as Result of Gin Accident

John W. Paschel, 52, died at 5:30 a.m. today in the Helena Hospital as a result of an accident at the Cooperative Gin, Marvell, in which he suffered the loss of his left arm below the shoulder.

Mr. Paschal was born in Hickman County, Tenn., and moved to Marvell in 1916. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Marvell.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alice Paschal, two daughters, Elsie and Essie May Paschal; five sons, Alton, Billie, Elmer, Lloyd and Danny Paschal, all of Marvell; two brothers, G. W. Paschal of Marvell and W. E. Paschal of Greenville, Miss.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Church of Christ, south of Marvell, by the Rev. J. W. Smith, pastor of the Christian Church of West Helena. burial will follow in the Hackley Cemetery. Members of the Marvell Masonic Lodge will serve as pallbearers. Keeshan-Lambert Company is in charge of all arrangements.
