W. Berry O’Shields

W. Berry O’Shields died this morning at 2 o'clock at his home on the Old Davidson place, about 6 miles west of the city on what was known as the Old Skinnerville Road. He had been in precarious condition for some time, gradually sinking from the effects of a stroke of paralyeis that he suffered sometime ago and which of late had been gradually growing worse. He leaves a wife, and three children, also a sister, Mrs. Carter, and three brothers, T. N. and M. I. And R. L. O’ Shields all living within a radius of a few miles of his place. Deceased was a farmer and merchant, and a clever gentleman, and had a number of friends who will learn with sorrow of his death. The interment will take place in the country.
