Mrs. McGonnigil, who would have been 80 years of age next month, met with a painful accident a few weeks ago, slipping on the ice and fracturing one of her thigh bones. Mrs. McGonnigil was a Miss Standifer, the daughter of the late John Standifer , and came to Phillips county with her parents in 1833. She was married to Mr. McGonnigil more than a third of a century ago. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist church.
