Will McCoy

From Holly Grove...Will McCoy, age 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Usher McCoy of Holly Grove, Ark., died March 4th, after a brief illness. Will had a severe attack of the measles which developed into pneumonia. This young man was a clean industrious and obedient boy. He loved his parents and sought to do that which was pleasing to them. He was a promising young farmer, and knew how to manage the farm to the best advantage. The community feels that it has sustained a loss in the death of this useful young man. Brother McCoy was converted a few years ago in a revival meeting and sought to live a clean Christian life...... The young man's funeral was preached by Dr. Marrison(sic), at the Presbyterian Church, and his remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Blackton, Ark. His many friends sympathize with his grief stricken parents, and sincerely hope that God may comfort them in their sorrow and prepare them to so live that they may hope to meet their loved one in eternity where he now abides.
