Sallie Lynch - Another Landmark Gone - Sister Sallie Lynch died at her home near Clarendon Sept. 14, 1909. She was born Dec. 14, 1848. She joined the Brushy Creek Missionary Baptist Church in South Carolina in 1862; moved to Arkansas in 1868 and was married to I. P. Lynch in 1869. She died of malarial hematuria, and leaves a husband and four children and a host of friends to mourn her loss. Sister Lynch was true to her faith and church, and besides was an adviser in religious matters, especially to the writer. Her body was carried to Shiloh Church, and funeral services were conducted by the writer, ......At the conclusion of the service the casket was conveyed by the pallbearers to the cemetery, and there her body will rest till God calls her.
