JOHN M. KNOWLES OBITUARY

J. M. Knowles, 59, died at his store home here Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock after a few days illness.

He came here two weeks ago from Helena and purchased the Blue Front grocery and market and was operating it at the time of his death. He is survived by three sons, Eddie of El Dorado, Kans.; Earl of Weoka, Okla.; Roy of El Dorado, and one daughter, Mrs. Inez Oldfield of El Dorado, Kans. Funeral services were conducted from the S. E. Brown & Son funeral home Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock, with the Rev. S. G. Watson officiating. Interment was in Shady Grove cemetery.
