Obituary - Mrs. Sarah E. Hinton: Mrs. Sarah E. Hinton departed this life on the third day of May, 1891. She was born Oct. 30th, 1858, professed faith in Christ and joined the M. E. Church, South, in 1882, and lived an acceptable member of it till death took her. She was a woman whose real value was not known by the people. Her place on the ship of Zion was not among the sails, but in the hold - she was a ballast Christian. She visited the sick to do something for them, and we shall feel our loss.
She leaves a husband and five little children in grief, and a large circle of friends to mourn her departure, but we feel that she has gone to rest. May God bless the bereaved ones and help us all to meet her on that sweet day bye and bye. Frank Ritter, Clarendon, Ark., May 4, 1891.
Note: Sarah E. was the wife of A. R. Hinton, and is buried in Shady Grove Cemetery, Clarendon.)
