Nora Mayo Haynie

[The] remains of Mrs. Nora Haynie, also an old citizen, and forty years a school teacher, were buried at Marvell during a furious storm, just at nightfall. Mrs. Haynie was known, loved and esteemed by a large circle of kindred, and many, many who had been her pupils. She leaves one son in Helena, one brother in Clarendon and one sister in Memphis. [Rev. J. H. Morrison conducted the services.]

[Note: according to grave stone, Nora Mayo Haynie died June 28, 1918]
