R. B. Hall

R. B. Hall, one of the pioneer citizens of Holly Grove, died at his home in that city Tuesday morning of this week sometime between 7 and 8 o’clock. He was a widower at the time of his death and since the death of his wife several years ago he, with his step-grandson, Ernest Kerr, resided at the family home. Mr. Kerry awoke Tuesday morning at the usual time and was engaged in lighting the fire when he called to Mr. Hall. Receiving no answer he went to the bed and discovered that Mr. Hall was dead. He was heard to stir in his sleep and cough slightly at about 7 o’clock, and from this it is known that he passed away quietly and without a struggle sometime between the hours named.
