Jas. Gunn, Jr. Dead. On Tuesday evening at the home of his sister, Mrs. M. J. Clark in Memphis, Mr. James Gunn, Jr., died after a long illness. Mr. Gunn was 51 years of age, the only son of the late John Gunn, one of the founders of Brinkley. For several years he has been in bad health. At the funeral on Thursday the active pall bearers were his five nephews, Messrs. Clarke and Frank Gunn, Jr. and the honorary pall bearers were members of his graduating class at the Christian Brothers College, all honored citizens of Memphis. Those in attendance at the funeral from Brinkley were Mr. and Mrs. James Gunn. Sr., Misses Katherine and Julia Gunn, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Andrews, Mr. John Gazzola.
