John Walter Gray

Died: - John Walter Gray, at Gregory, Ark., Nov. 10, 1897. He was born in 1849 in Shelby County, Tenn. He was the son of John Gray, Esq., of Virginia - was married in '81 to Mary C. Newell of Germantown, Tenn. His wife died a few weeks before his death. They left two children. Cameron who is in Texas, and little Nellie who is living with her aunt, Mrs. J. S. Cox of this city, to whom he gave her before his last sickness.
