Died, at his home near Sylarville, Feb. 3, 1893, Mr. James Gipson. He came here in 1844 from Tennessee...and has been one of our most prosperous farmers. ....He joined the Missionary Baptist Church seventeen years ago under the ministration of Rev. Wm. Pasley .
