Lucille Fussell

Mrs. Lucille Fussell, wife of Capt. James Fussell, of Forrest City, died at her home Tuesday evening inst. (Nov. 24, 1894) Mrs. Fussell was better known to Memphians as Lucille Gallaway. she was the daughter of James Wise and the adopted daughter of Col. and Mrs. Gallaway, and was known and loved by a large circle of friends here. She was a graduate with honors from Higbee School. she was born Nov. 1, 1861, hence was only 33 years old. She married in November 1880 to James Fussell, a prominent merchant and planter of Forrest City, Ark. Three children came to bless their home, and now mourn the irreparable loss of a mother.
