Nannie Dickson

Necrological. Mrs. Nannie Dickson died yesterday afternoon after a lingering illness, at the residence of Mr. E. A. Porter, on Poplar Street, extended. She had been sick since the first of the year. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. E. A. Porter and Mrs. M. T. McMahon, both of this city. She had lived a long life, and a good life, for she was an excellent woman and a christian, a consistent member of the First Baptist Church. Her husband, the late Geo. O. Dickson, was a survivor of the Mexican War. The funeral was held from the Porter residence at 3:30 this afternoon, the Rev. H. C. Rosamond conducting the service.
