J. B. Davidson

An old landmark of Phillips County passed away at four o'clock this morning at his home in Marvell, namely Mr. J. B. Davidson, who had climbed life's ladder to its seventy-eighth rung. His death is mourned by the entire town of Marvell and a large number of his and the family's friends in Helena, and other portions of the county.

He leaves three sons, 'Squire B. F. Davidson, of Marvell, Rev. John Davidson, of Memphis, a Presbyterian preacher, and a son in Texas.

His remains will be interred in the family burying grounds at Midway tomorrow morning.

The World begs to expréss its sincere sympathy to the bereaved sons in this sad hours.
