Obituary of Frank H. Cole

WELL KNOWN BRINKLEY CITIZEN IS DEAD

Frank H. Cole, well-known Brinkley merchant, died at his home there Monday night of this week. Mr. Cole, who was 61 years of age, had been actively identified with the Presbyterian Church there for a long number of years and was also prominent in the Knights of Pythias, Elks and Modern Woodman lodges.

He also served a long number of years as a justice of the peace for Brinkley township.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Oma Snyder Cole; a son John F. Cole, cashier of the Bank of Brinkley; a brother, J. T. Cole of Champaign, Ill.; a half-sister, Miss Amy Cole of Altamont, Ill; and two half-brothers, Clarence cole of Taylorville, Ill., and R. W. Cole of Hillman.

Mr. Cole was a native of Altamont, IIl., and came to Arkansas in 1909. He was a splendid and substantial citizen of Brinkley.

Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in Brinkley Wednesday afternoon.
