Mrs. Garland Black

Mrs. Garland Black Dies Tuesday Afternoon. On Tuesday afternoon at 4 o’clock Mrs. Garland Black, after a lingering illness of many months, passed to her long home. Mrs. Black has been a long and patient sufferer from that dreaded malady, tuberculosis. The funeral was from the family apartments on Main Street at 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Perkins of the Episcopal Church, conducting the services. The burial was in the Catholic Cemetery. A number of friends from Little Rock came to attend the funeral, among them Mrs. Black’s mother. Mrs. Black is survived by her husband and her daughter, Miss Annie Hall.
