J. N. Berry

J. N. Berry Dead - J. N. Berry, who recently moved here from Dark Corner, died Sunday morning about 11 o’clock, after having been sick about two weeks. Mr. Berry was well and favorably known in Monroe and Woodruff counties. He was a Confederate soldier, having joined the Arkansas forces from Cotton Plant and served throughout the war. The funeral was held at the residence Monday at 2 o’clock, Rev. T. H. Howard officiating. The burial was at Oak Lawn cemetery. Deceased is survived by his wife, one son, and two daughters.
