Maggie Gibson Cook

FORMER BRINKLEY LADY DIES IN LITTLE ROCK - Mrs. Maggie Gibson-Cook, wife of Mr. Elmer Cook and daughter of our townsman, Mr. Geo. A. Gibson, died yesterday afternoon in Little Rock from the effects of an operation for appendicitis. The body of Mrs. Cook will be brought to Brinkley on the Rock Island Limited this afternoon at 4:50 o’clock and will be carried to the home of her father, Mr. Geo. A. Gibson on North New Orleans Ave. The funeral will be from the residence at 9:00 o’clock in the morning (Saturday) and the services will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery, conducted by Rev. W. T. Thurman of the Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Cook leaves a husband and baby girl to mourn her death. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
